Canada's Best Beaches

To build on to the existing thread regarding Ontario's best beaches I thought I would start one for Canada. Post pics of your favorite Canadian beaches here. I'll start off with some from my home province of Nova Scotia.

Martinique Beach

Ingonish Beach

Crescent Beach

Queensland Beach

Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen BC. When the tide is out you can walk for a km out into Boundary Bay. The water is really warm as well. Great for Skim Boarding

Ditto. Its actually one of the places where the water temperature is bearable. I cant find any pictures of it, so here are some pics of Crescent beach, White Rock, British Columbia on a cloudy day (which is also not a bad place, just that the current is very strong/water is colder). Its Approx right across from the beach mentioned (more right of 1st pic)

Here's some beaches in British Columbia.

Jericho Beach, Vancouver

Spanish Banks, Vancouver

Sunset Beach, Vancouver

English Bay, Vancouver

Ambleside Beach, West Vancouver

Saratoga Beach

Savary Island - which boasts itself as BCs Tropical Island because of its warm clear water and white beaches.

Straight of Georgia-Sunshine Coast/Gulf Islands
Palm Beach

Vargas Island

Galiano Island

Pacific Rim National Park

Wasaga and the Sand Banks are nice in Ontario. Same as Ashbridge's Bay in Toronto.

Nova Scotia's beaches look very appealing. How's the water in Nova Scotia? warm? surf-able?
I would love BC's beaches more if the water wasn't so cold.
In Ontario I heard Sauble beach was the best. I've only been to Wasaga and the water was warm, the sand was soft - overall very nice beach experience (except for the lack of public rinse-off stations). It gets pretty crowded though.

Try taking a dip in Semiahmoo Bay in White Rock on a late afternoon during the summer. At low-tide the water is almost as warm as bath water! Very nice.

Thanks everyone for this thread. We're waterlogged in Vancouver with non-stop rain, 15cm in three days, and a taste of summer was exactly what I needed.

Especially this:

I LOVE Vancouver in the summer!

Nova Scotia's beaches are cold in the beginning of the summer. MUCH warmer by August/September.
