Huge Project

This one will be built in São Paulo:
The apartments cost between 2 and 4 million dollars.

It sure looks like a huge complex, how tall are the towers going to be?

Just by eyeballing it, I'd say 150-200 meters. Not a "huge project" by any modern means.

This was supposed to have 205m, reaching 223m with the antennas on top of some of them.

Eh... normally this would've been a "great" project... but it won't make much of a dent in Sao Paulo's skyline. :P Iether way... it's ok I guess.

When I saw the towers, I thought that it looked great but then I saw the huge podium that they are all resting on - YUK !

Yes, I think the Shopping Cidade Jardim underneath the buildings spoils a lot. The towers would look far better without the podium!!!

yeah, because projects where 9 towers share a MASSIVE pedestal happen all of the time, all over the place.

I don't understand the negativity in this thread... Good grief people. Are you highrise enthusiasts or not?

It looks to be about 1,000 feet across and deep. That is a pretty big pedestal.

I stand corrected. This may not be tall, but it will still be BIG.

that ****** gets the 'biggest damned podium on earth' award. is it me or does it seem that argentina and brazil go polar opposite ways when it comes to architecture? seems like argentina is into neo classical pseudobeaux-arts stuff while brazil is like the only country that has never lost its love affair with the modernist/international style. **digression alarm** hate to sound like negative nancy, but the only thing that makes it cool is bc its so damned big. what part of BA is this in? how ill it mesh with the existing and/or proposed urban fabric? that, IMO, would make or break this project. its infill on a massive scale, not a signature development (which is what BA needs ... maybe they should heap all that shit into one massive tower).

It would be more on it's place in Dubai. I don't really like the shared pedestal to be honest, but it sure is a huge project.

What will they do with the pedestal? Use it for a mall and restaurants?
