I will save my judgement until its finished, but I have worries about how it will age.

in ten years people may think it was built in the 70's lol.

me finks that its too light coloured for manc. the light blue would be more fitting in florida or cape town. I reckon it will get dirty pretty quick with pollution. hell look at sunley tower.

unless its got that special self cleaning glass

oh btw. I love the way the dude who started this thread happened to mention London and belittle the project. sad ****.

It wont be affected to badly because its all glass which is much easier to clean. The worst parts of Sunley's old facade were the opache white panels beneath the glass.

It wont get dirty at all. First reason. City Tower has massive concrete side which the dirt sticks to. Second reason. Beetham doesnt have bus station at the bottom of it. Third reason Beetham is glass. Reason number four is that there is a very good hotel in it called the Hilton and I think they will want to keep the building as clean as possible. And number five, the apartments in it are worth millions those people who live in it are going to expect it to be clean.

When I first saw the cladding going on at the bottom I was a bit concerned about it. However I now think it looks great and will look even better when it's fully complete.
