It says NEVER seen, so I chose 400m (plenty of those nowadays, haha). However tallest I HAVE seen is ESB, which is still 400+ meters to the tip. I saw 1WTC when it was ~1,000 feet, but it wasn't even close to topping out then.

Willis Tower, Old World Trade Center, CN Tower, and some random masts in North Carolina that are taller than all of them (about 2000'/609m).

I think the tallest building in the world is The Bruj in Dubai. Its been believed that Dbai is a home for worlds tallest hotel, largest mall, largest man-made port and theyre about to add one more to the list: say the Burj Dubai.

Where have you been hiding, Burj Dubai is renamed to Burj Khalifa, which is currently the highest manmade building in the world.

You are right about the hotel part, I think all 5 tallest hotel in the world are in Dubai. not counting NK's Ryugyong, as it is not ready yet.

Tallest I've ever seen was the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas at 350 meters. And the US Bank Tower in Los Angeles at 310 meters.
