Yellowknife - Canada

Rate this beautiful place. It clings to the far North in Canada's North West Territories.
It has a population of approx. 19,500. It is also the capital of the North West Territories.

The 1st 2 pics look like its not in Canada, but when you get to the 3rd pic.......bbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

For a city as small as it is, I give it a 7.5. My city has about 150,000 and this skyline is probably better.

Looks nice and chilly.

/\ lol yea, pretty much... my city doesn't have a great skyline for the size of it...and the importance of it. Oh well... Guess I have to keep complaining until someone gets money and builds in Windsor.

That skyline is AMAZING for a "city" of 17,000 people. Its better than alot of places with 250,000 people.

A comment about the last pic: Just imagine what it would be like after driving for like 20 hours straight through wilderness then coming into this city of Yellowknife.. Incredible

In the fourth pic it shows Yellowknife's tallest that was built in 1996. Not bad for such a small city.

9/10 for its size

Very good skyline for a city with 17.000 !
I the area were I live there are two "big" cities ( 20.000 & 30.000) and the tallest buildings there are only around 6 floors ! If they only had such skyscrapers !

I'll give it a 8/10 !

The tallest building in Yellowknife is the Centre Square
20 floors and 60 meters height

The city has more high-rise if you compare with Whitehorse in Yukon Territory

This city (town) is hardly ever talked about.

I happen to really enjoy the skyline of Windsor. It is a nice backdrop to Detroit.

This thread has nothing to do with Windsor.

10 for a city that has only 17,000 people and is in a remote area. Has an impressive skyline for a city of its type.
