New Stadium Concepts Architecture...
Actually after 1990's we witnessed modern stadiums in the world. Architectural concept was like this and Germany, UK, Italy, some other countries in Europe and USA had such stadiums.
But then passage period stadiums appeared Sydney, Paris and Istanbul. And then generation next stadiums took stage in Japan-Korea, Greece (Athens), Germany, UK, ect... But new concept is organic futuristic modern design and we came to this point in a short period of the time... Here are some examples... I classificed accordng to the styles, not to the time and year... Modern Examples Torino Milano Manchester Foxborough Koppenhagen ![]() Passage Period Designs Istanbul Paris-St. Denis Sydney Miyagi Saitama Generation Next Athens Amsterdam This stadium is almost the first example of Generation next stadia Gersnenkirchen Oita Seoul Porto Lisboa Wembley Future Stadiums (organic design) Athens Olympic Velodrome we can consider it as the first example Munchen Allianz Arena Beijing London

the London one is SOOO organic, seems like they going to cover it with little bugwings!
I SO LOVE IT!and also the Beijing one. me love organic architecture! It seems like they are going to grow the stadia, not build them! Fantastic

Yes you are right... I am so impatient to see the new examples. So we will understand if it is a permanent style or just fashion...

Too much for a football team as A.S. BARI (they are too many years Bari doesn't come back in italian major league, Serie A) They built this stadium for ITALIA '90 World Cup and use it for some world cup matches... Now it is very difficult to have a sold out of all avalaible places, so it remains most of the times almost empty....

I just gave some examples, and thank you for increasing the examples. I think Munich Olympic Stadium is one of the best in the world...
Now Allianz Arena will take its place. What will happen this wonderful stadium? |
