![]() ![]() ![]() A vision by Peel Holding for Wirral there's at least 14 towers including 3 50 storey towers and a load of mid and low rise buildings, they will apply for outline planning permission next year,no public money or CPO's are needed to get this plan moving, planning permission is all that is needed. ![]() This image is simply stunning.....do you think these towers will get built? If they do, Liverpool will have a world-class skyline to go with its great location on the water....a sort of mini-Manhattan! |

i hope it happens but even if it does it could take upto 20 years. its a plan by peelholdings and i think if anyone could do a scheme like that its them. they also own a good piece of land on the waterfront not to far from the 3 three graces so we could see a lot of developments in the future.

You don’t have to reside on a boat to live on the water. Introducing the Flotilla Development
![]() ![]() Now that developers have all pretty much got the hang of the waterside living thing, how about water surface living? Nope, not a yacht or a barge, but a luxury floating housing estate in Liverpool. This is what Peel Holdings are proposing for Princes Dock. The 26 homes are a first for the UK and designed to appear like a row of multi-million pound super yachts. Proposals have been submitted to Liverpool City Council for the unique homes which will feature three decks and have views of the city's World Heritage site including the famous Liver Building. Developers Peel Holdings said they expected the Flotilla development to compete against top of the range penthouse apartments. Ian Pollitt, a spokesman for Peel Holdings, said: "They are reflective of Peel's innovative and pioneering approach to the redevelopment of the area". Martyn Green, from King Sturge property agents, said: "We are privileged to be in a position to bring these unique homes to the market, and have already had a few enquiries from people who have heard about this project on the grapevine. This will be one of the most talked about developments in 2007. "It is fantastic that the first development of this kind in the country is to be based here in Liverpool. "The level of demand for these special luxurious homes is expected to be great, with Flotilla offering a first in prestigious living on the water." |

Paul,
this was in last months Motor Boats Monthly--- Boat-shaped homes plan Plans have been announced for boat-shaped floating homes to be installed in Princes Dock basin in Liverpool. Peel Holdings says the 26 homes in the Flotilla development have been designed with a nautical theme to give the appearance of a row of super yachts. Each will have three decks, and will feature an outside deck area at gunwhale level, an external balcony, and a sun deck. Prices for 'boats' in the development are expected to be similar to those being asked for top-of-the-range penthouse apartments. |
