Interesting to know what materials they are proposing to use, plus how they get over the tidal flow and winter storms.

Whatever it is they have left some on the Waterfront for ages exposed to the elements to see how well it withstood the harsh conditions,I should imagine it's still there somewhere?

If those floating homes are approved, what will be the construction finish date? If I put away a tenner a week until then, will I be able to afford one?

This 34 storey tower is to be part of Liverpool's emerging cluster on the Mersey.

Great thread, stumbled upon it whilst using google image search. Gob-smacking future render! Blows every other regional city in the UK out the water. World class. What's the situation with the cheeky number by St John's Beacon and the approved 34 storey tower in the cluster?

That's Lime Street Gateway by the beacon and sadly that was dropped, the 34 storey effort was approved and we've heard no mention of it for ages. The only ones that aren't built or UC are the ones mentioned and the towers nearest the Catholic Cathedral which is Central Village which still appears to be aquiring property around this development,it's still active in that department but not actually on site. Not the pano directly below btw,the picture at the bottom.

Said it before and I'll say it again... awesome mate. One of the best photos of the Liverpool waterfront I've ever seen, anywhere.

I'll repeat the sentiment as well. The colours, contrast and atmosphere of the photo is incredible. Love it!

Are they going to recald that old orange coloured building? Or is that blue box in the centre of the pic a completely new one?
