The orange building and the blue box are the same building. It's an example of the sandcastle building after a re clad, there was talk of something being done to it a while back but there have been no official renders yet.

^Cheers

Hopefully they will go ahead with the reclad. In its current state it really stands out as an eyesore among the much more beatiful buildings.

With the way things are and chances of many of those towers becoming reality, I'm beginning to think that Plot 3a fading from existance may be a good thing.. The waterfront looks fantastic and whilst I love 3a, It'd probably ruin the harmony of all the other buildings..

The taller buildings need to be set further back instead of infront of those existing, like some of the other proposals. Liverpool needs a backdrop of towers rather than them going to the front, it'd look much more organised overall.. and possibly provide more open space along the front for when Peel start there projects??

Either way, I never tire of looking at the pics.. its 'the' city of the Northwest.

Excellent!

I think Liverpool has the best skyline of any city in the UK outside of London.

I think Liverpool and Manchester are slightly bigger than that, try doubling it.I can't see what this has to do with the Liverpool skyline either.
