PULAU KUMALA, EAST BORNEO
Pulau Kumala is a small island that has been developed by Kutai Kartanegara's local goverment.
It is situated in the middle is Mahakam River in Tenggarong, capital of Kutai Kartanegara. For more information read this (sorry in Indonesian language only) Pulau Kumala merupakan sebuah pulau kecil yang terletak ditengah-tengah sungai Mahakam di wilayah kota Tenggarong. More pic in my next reply... Yes this resort is still very young...
thx to the Indonesian goverment for giving us a decentralisation politics (otonomi daerah) so we also can develop our region And I'm telling u that this resort is like an dreamland... Imagine there's a mini theme park in the middle of a river, for me it's fantastic!!! and to make an island that stabil and save in there, really cost a huge amount of rupiahs

Chris jon last match were in Jakarta, that was when he defended his world champ title. But you're right, he also defended his title in kutai last year.
Anyway, Kutai is the richest province in Kalimantan right? Thanks for the pics Blue sky, how long is it from BPP to that area? cheers
