Baseball and softball dropped from Olympics, what should replace them?

No great loss in baseball and softball getting dropped. Now what should replace them? Some of the proposed sports are:

Golf.
Squash.
Rugby sevens.
Karate.
Roller sports.

I'd like to see golf in match play format and maybe squash. Might be a bit tough for squash because of the lack of recognition in the US. I can't see rugby sevens getting in due to the lack of women participation. Or am I wrong?

Rugby 7s should not be included, the sport is not important enough in enough countries to make the cut just like Baseball and Cricket.

Golf a waste of time really the existing majors have too much history and prestige for the Olympics to matter to the players or fans just like Tennis where winning any of the grand slam tournaments is more important than Olympic gold.

Skateboarding should definately be included.

Soccer should be dumped from the olympics as well since the olympics is about the best athletes in the world competing against each other for the ultimate prize not just an under 23's training run for the world cup.

Im suprised at the dropping of Softball as it is a pretty international sport and the Olympics seemed pretty big for the sport especially for Australia.

The Olympics Tennis and Soccer competitions on the other hand play second fiddle to the world cup and grand slams! The same would be the case with Golf.

Rugby Sevens would have been interesting.. and saying it is not important enough well how about Ping Pong [table tennis] which is just bull.

Golf is a big waste of space and Olympic preparation. Rugby sevens could be held in the same field as the soccer, and my other two choices, karate and squash can be fit in a simple sports hall.

Its basically a commonwealth sport and it doesn't come across on tv all that well. A great sport which unfortunately has no influence in the areas that count.
