Sydney skyscraper pics July 2nd and 7th

It was my second return to Sydney, almost 5 years after the first.

Gateway Plaza. (164 m) One of my favourites in Sydney, not very tall, but glassy and a great shape

Governor Phillip Tower. (227 m) Another of my favourites. It doesn't look its height though, cos of the setbacked top.

The new 126 Phillip Street (or is it BT Tower?) (240 m) From the 3/4 angle the top looks nice, but I really don't like the proportions of this side. Far too wide.

Closer view of the top. There's a sign installed that I never noticed before.

MLC Centre. (228 m) Formerly the tallest building in Sydney, according to old definitions. Looks every bit its height.

AMP Tower. (309 m) For me, having visited Singapore, New York and Kuala Lumpur, this was the only structure in Sydney that looks "quite tall" to me.

Citigroup Centre. (243 m) The texture of the facade is great.

World Tower. (230 m) It looks better in real life than I thought it looked in photos. It looks like a modern sculpture.

Earnst & Young Tower (219 m, spire)

Narrow view of the World Tower. The last time I was at this site, in Dec 2000, it was just a giant hole in the ground.

Grosvenor Place (180 m) and the Cove Tower (left). Both by the same architect.

AAPT Tower. (193 m) One of my favourites, despite the dirtiness of some parts.

Australia Square Tower. (170 m)

Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Great pics Damien!

Sydney scrapers are looking great! They have a certain flair about them.
