Tell that to the person who brought up the Legislative Council. See the picture. It's not hard. Perhaps you should open your eyes a bit wider when reading posts and lay blame correctly.

Do eunuchs squeal when kicked in the crotch? Or is there no feeling?

That 'enuch' you're referring to isn't around to feel it or give you a reaction right now. Hope he reads up on Hong Kong a bit more so nobody else needs to catch his ignorance.

Going back to topic, rather than feed other people's squeals, Europe's town square concept has resulted in a number of stunning 'city hall's and squares, such as Grand Place and the Hotel de Ville in Brussels :

Grand Place

Hotel de Ville

belgium seems to have the best ones. i like paris' as well.

north america has crappy city halls. the only ones that deserve honorable mentions are baltimore, philly, and montreal (from what i've seen). the rest are crap, in my opinion. i like them to have character and i like the old school architecture.

The ignorant squeals when he doesn't read to realize that Grand Place is the town square that is attached to the city hall (Hotel de Ville), which is a typical design for many European cities.

Back in the day when the Forbidden City was full of them, they had to go through rigorous testing and screening to avoid letting in the ignorant and the downright stupid. Knowing what the centre of Beijing looked like wouldn't be so challenging to them at all.

Perhaps you should live a day in that life to know more about town squares?

I don't see why people can legitimize bringing off-topic discussions to threads. The titles are very clear. I don't see why something not involving a City Hall or close to it from an urban development or historical significance point of view should play any part in here.

But then, the ignorant masses without knowledge of such important things would try to be pricks to avoid looking downright stupid.

The title clearly says "Best City Hall", not "Best City Hall and various other things around it".
