Can you use a 64x96 pixels pic? I tried to do it, but told me that the image was too large. And the pic is smaller than 24.4 kb.

How can I do it???

The dimensions can't be larger than 64 px in either width or height. Largest image is therefore 64x64.

You can ask a mod to put an irregular sized avatar under your name.

You can do that yourself, Chibcha2k

Click "USER CP" along the top menu (the left-most option)

Then click "EDIT AVATAR" on the left side of the screen.

Scroll down to the bottom and hit the "USE CUSTOM AVATAR" option.

Then click "BROWSE" and find the place where you saved the avatar.

Then click "SAVE CHANGES"

Edit: In the future, you can make any picture an avatar. Just open the picture in Paint and then resize it (using "IMAGE" > "STRETCH/SKEW" and always enter equal percentages for horizontal and vertical). Save it, try to upload it as your avatar. If SSC says that the file size is too large, then go back and keep making it smaller until it's compatible.
