almost forgot this was suppose to be for GC, not Los Angeles (which itself is having a construction boom)... Very nice.

The (BGC) Center forms the physical core of the BGC. Based on the ongoing construction, Bonifacio Development Corporation (BDC) is prioritizing the development of the retail promenade which will be composed of several retail outlets/shops, surrounded by landscaped areas.

As per BGC's Masterplan, "the City Center forms the physical core of the Bonifacio Global City, and is essentially designed as a three-by-three matrix of high-tech offices and residential buildings, bustling retail outlets and pedestrian-friendly roads and walkways. The grid approach ensures a city center that is easy to navigate."

A portion of the Retail Promenade is expected to be opened at the end of the year 2006.

Compare these pictures ("before" and "after") to appreciate the ongoing development of the BGC Center.

Note: I took the "Before" (ie, old masterplan) picture October 2005. I took the "After" (ie, new masterplan) picture June 29, 2006. I was in One McKinley Place when I took both pictures.
Can't wait for the Retail Promenade to open at the end of this year ...

Can anyone please identify the Architect/Designer of each and every hi-rise tower building in Global City? I would love to know these great architects. Congratulations to GC!!!

LOL. That's the tower in Russia right? I think it is red because they want us to see the cross-section. But I think the Manila Tower proposed in Ayala Ave resembles the Philippine flag...

The signage on Fort Bonifacio's buses really goes well with the overall design theme of the city.
