<tr><td align=left valign=top>Well said Aces! I'd like to see a Rate Our Skylines of Washington D.C... and see how many TRUTHFULLY gave a high score. I know that Washington D.C has some great buildings... but it doesn't have a nice skyline. Its the same for Brasilia... it may not have many amounts of historic buildings... but it has the opposite, the city has many modern looking buildings! Its especially amazing because most of the designs still look very futuristic... even though they were built over a half century ago!</td></tr>
</table>

Washington D.C. has better buildings. 5

I agree that the buildings are a little boring by todays post-modern standards. I've read a lot about this city. Its really fascinating, even though I would not like to live there.

The people (or most of them) live in these huge, socialist-style apartment complexes called Superquadra. The city is layed out like an airplane. Its really interesting to look at, and probably to visit, but it is a relic of a past time, in my opinion. Still, an important testament to architectual genius of the time.

I gave it 4. I shouldn't say that, but Brasília is what it is - a working place and not a city to spend your whole life in!! I didn't like it. Empty and huge - a ghost town!
