Hong Kong: Union Square 5, 6 & 7 (490 m) (Part 2)

Since we open new threads after 500 posts to keep the forums faster I thought it was time to open a new one for this tower.

EDIT: The old thread: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=178469

One of the big ones UC now in the world with 490 meters to the roof, 118 floors.

The design by Kohn Pedersen Fox associates:

And latest update originally posted by Rachmaninov:

And we can use this thread also for phase 6 and 5, both 250 meters tall:

isn't the official height 484m? it says 490 on the thread title- it should probably be right. This was discussed in the previous thread.

Purely for construction costs, I don't think that's too unreasonable, is it?

anyway, nice to see a new thread. wonder what it'll look like by the time this thread goes over 500posts?

one thing i'd like to know is the 490meters to the top of the glass bladed sides or actual roof height (the actual roof being set lower down than the glass blades)?

lol, burj dubai had part 5 when construction reached the first floors...

no seriously. this is a great building. with a little bit of spire/roof feature it could be taller though. but i like it more than 2IFC.

No spires please. They should count building height to the highest occupiable floor.
