AIG is in blue right beside the convention centre. Nina tower is over 1000 ft tall yet it is not visible from the main skyline view (it's considered to be in the more residential - suburban area [if you can call thousands of highrises suburban.. lol]) This is why HK is so dominant in terms of actual numbers of highrises.. the main skyline (usually presented in pictures) is basically on the side of HK island from North Point to Sheung Wan.

Yes, towers physically taller than Sears. and structural advances actually make these structures economic. what we need here in the states, is a demand for office space, i'm talking about 500.000 to 1.0 million sq.ft. leases,
by the way, are there any companys with headquarters in the US anymore.????

This sounds sooo funny.
The two tallest buildings in HK are called:
- 2 International Finance Center

and

- International Commerce Center

These names sound so formal and such. Look at the names of the tallest towers in the world and see what they are called:
-Taipei 101
-Burj Dubai
-Sears Tower
-Petronas Tower
-Shanghai World Finance Center

Well... Shanghai... umm... Let's just say that tall buildings in China all have very formal names.

there is no skipping of floor in 1 & 2IFC ,so I don`t think SHKP will do skip-floor thing on ICC(國際商貿中心or國際經貿中心or國際貿易中心or國際商務中心 )
