Don't believe a word Santy says- i've been dealing with her for years and the amount of times she has promised me a completion date is crazy. I purchased my apartment in CT1 in 2006 and then there was no Escrow account so all payments by all investors who paid up to August 2008 are NOT in the account. Memon are in finacial difficulty and just hoping and waiting for investors to keep paying their installments to keep the build progressing. I took pictures in August 2010 and there has been NO progress made.
Also a nice big plot in front of CT1 where a new building is going so anyone (like me) who thought they were getting a golf course view will now get a building view. I can send pics. If this is to be completed expect another 2-3 years when banks will hopefully loan again

Champions Tower I is now structure complete and the finishing is on process. Regarding the exact handover we will be in a position to know only in the first quarter of 2011 seeing the progress of the internal works, without which we do not intend to give any dates or commitments. The entire community will be built by 2012 this is what the officials have confirmed. We hope this is done as soon as its committed so we as a developer handover the projects with ease.

Photo updates will be mailed to you as soon as we receive the same form the Project Department.

Wow - Santa did bring hope then! All finished by 2012! Well that's saying something...but no dates or commitments when? How interesting! Is this some sort of guessing game?

Anyone know why Memon are completing CT3 & 4 before CT1 even though this one was release well before the others

Be carefull if you take up Memon's invitation for a site visit as when they have finished showing you how much they have NOT progressed they will demand and put pressure on you to pay further installments claiming a early completion date - and just remembered they will also demand the money for the electricity installment!

Anybody seeking to employ the services of Mr Sunil Thacker needs to be a ware that this man was given the sack from the law firm TLG. He was given the sack for ill advising and misleading clients as well as making promises that were not true. This man is a crooked cheat and will seek to take advantage of desperate investors. Everybody needs to be warned.

Where on Rera site did you find this information? What can we do about it??? Is somebody doing something about this, is their new regulation coming? Do we just have to wait anohter 5 years?

Leading property developer reveals smooth work and timely pace of construction on projects in Dubai Sports City






August 22, 2011

Memon Investments, a leading Dubai-based property developer and part of the international business conglomerate, Shaikhani Group, has confidently revealed that Champions Tower I (CTI), the first of the four Champions Towers, will be delivered to its customers in the first quarter of 2012. The leading developer has reported completion on CTI’s structure and blocking works and is now currently working on the first floor windows and tiling works at a very timely pace. The latest report reflects the company’s commitment towards meeting its construction deadlines amidst the challenges left behind by the global economic downturn.

The company has also reported that they are on track to meet their deadlines for the other Champions Towers projects and Frankfurt Sports Tower. The expected dates of completion include CTII in December 2012, CTIII in June 2012, CTIV in December 2013 and FST in June 2013. Takmeel, the Shaikhani Group’s newly launched turnkey services provider, will render strategic services like Design Consultation, Value Engineering and Project Management for CTI. Also, Memon Investments has revealed that the awarding of various contracts to some of the UAE’s leading contractors has played a key factor in the fast paced construction of the towers. Stromek Emirates Foundation completed the initial excavation and foundation work on the five projects, while Al Sarh Contracting facilitated the construction work and leading MEP contractor Amwar Al Aqsa managed the electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and fighting components.

“The smooth flow of construction and the fast pace of work rendered by our contractors have given us the confidence to assure our investors that we will be able to turn over Champions Tower I by early next year,” said Ahmed Shaikhani, Managing Director, Memon Investments. ”We remain fully committed to our promise of on-time project delivery. In fact, our newly launched turnkey services provider arm, Takmeel, will be providing turnkey design consultation services for Champions Tower I before it gets turned over to our clients.“

this developer is a cheater and having different excuses for delaying CT01 once i read in news paper they are facing shortage of material and later facing shortage of labor like delayed to handover the plot to memon developer once they we aren't effecttee of economic down turn they solded a unit to me now they are telling me this unit is someone else owner we will provide you another unit.
