I doubt that the Fordham Spire will ever be completed.

The Chicago "drop-off" is just bizarre. It just stops.

That's great. It's going to look great when everything's completed. I like Waterview and Trump as much as (if not more than) the Fordham Spire.

But just so Bubai_Boy knows, what ChiSky says is true. It really does strech much farther than just where the downtown supertalls are, and it's about 24km.
Thanks, Latoso, for the more "accurate" distant confirmation as far as the chicago skyline goes. I knew that mine was an estimate based on the yahoo map, so maybe a bit off as far as the distant goes. But, if you accounted for the south side which there is a big gap due to the Highway and the McComic Center. It could have stretch even furthur south and that could be easily over 30km. But, since the continuous was the key, so I only determine from McComick to the border of Evanston.

Its 26 miles to be exact from near southside to Evanston. Its a good 10 to 12 miles from the upper northside area near John Hancock to Sears via the cab, I know, I had to pay for it twice.

I really like that building as I said on the UK forums. Chicago's going to have an even greater skyline soon.

The Trump tower will make an excellent addition to the skyline...however I feel the Fordham looks way, way out of place for Chicago...that thing is just too damn wierd.

Fordham Spire is fascinating! Looks like a borer someone had drilled through the planet.

Because Petronas tower stole the crown of WTB from sears tower with its pathetic spire inches over sears's rooftop. Otherwise, sears tower definitely is taller if you are looking at the overall height of the building!

From that Diagram, is the freedom tower a remake of the old WTC, but bigger?

Where in this picture does Chicago just drop off?

The Fordham is too far west. It should be lined up between North Point and the Tower just south of it.

But great shot.
