180° panoramic view of the old and crowded part of Madurai. The meenakshi temple, doms of the Thirumalai nayak palace and the St. Mary's church visible in the distance. There is strict rules which prohibit tall buildings over a certain distance around the temple.

Madurai Bypass road

Blade of a windmill being transported along the bypass. The article says such kind of things have necessitated the 4 lanning of the road.

Ya it is. I guess its heading towards Nellai or Nagercoil region where a lot of wind farms are coming up.

Once during the early stages of the Koodankulam project i had seen a very very big truck loaded with god only knows what. They blocked traffic on the NH 7 for it to pass through.

Once i have seen a massive rocket being hauled in NH45 along with police escort. It was heading to Mahindragiri.
