From an Economic Stand Point, Is it Cheaper to Air Condition Apartments rather than large suburb homes?? Perhaps Dubai is doing what is economically most fit and that is building vertical for efficiency purposes?

I think it is less expensive as suburban homes need seperate A/C systems where as a tower needs a few central ones

another great tower
so much more room to fill out along this area
but it will be tallest for a few squares till park square comes up

little update

i contacted hill intl because they had 2 different heights given on the website
330m is correct!

anyway, on an architect's conference late last year there already was an al durrah tower project, which was designed by SOM

the new al durrah tower project has a new design and a new architect, ws atkins who have designed dozens of highrises for dubai!

so, architect is ws atkins, not SOM
