This skyline does nothing for me. The city itself is full of character, but the skyline is absolutely blah. Some say that's part of Memphis' character, but if you're asking me to rate it, I gotta give it a 5.

A few comments here. First, the skyline is so-so, too many boxes though, so I'll give it a 6/10. Second, that first picture is pretty amazing. The natural untouched beauty of the land across the river is amazing. It is unique how a fairly large city is right there, and within a few miles, it looks as if it is endless. And finally, the Pyramid is also interesting. How come in the first picture the Pyramind is bluish/black and in the second to last picture the Pyramid is white?

There are a few buildings that look nice, but for the most part, its just boxes. The river complements the skyline and the pyramid carrise the whole thing!

Cool. Nice and green, you have the water there, and a nice bridge. The pyramid gives the eye a little something extra to look at. Not much variety in building styles however. 7/10.

Definately a well defined skyline although the buildings are a little short! What's the pyramid doing there? Is it some kinda weird building or just a statue or some mounment? I like the pyramid though, it makes Memphis unique

7.5/10

The skyline isn't that interesting but it has some nice density and historic buildings. The Pyramid, where the NBA Memphis Grizzlies play until the FedEx arena is built, is a nice addition to the skyline. Why are they building a new arena anyways? I like the setting a lot next to the mighty Mississippi with that cool bridge. I didn't realize the Arkansas side was so untouched still, it looks like swamp land. Seems like the riverfront next to downtown would have more in the way of condo towers, maybe in the future. 6/10

I live in Jonesboro ( about 63 miles nw of memphis) the land across the river, arkansas of course, has many farms and is rather unattractive. west memphis is just out of the first pic too.

ok,for the skyline, theres not alot there, but imo there is a hell of alot of character in the downtown area. and just out of downtown there are many beautiful historic buildings. And to the south you have....well...the ghetto

7.5

Beautiful setting next to the river and the untouched greenness across it, the city centre is well defined with a cluster of relatively boring buildings set off by the pyramid to the north. Looks alright in profile, but surrounded by too many carparks.
