Hola!

I am from Memphis, and the skyline is very dull, and it has been the same skyline since I was born with the exception of the Morgan keegan building, which is not too bad.

The Pyramid was built and financed about 10 years ago to lure an NBA team. So, finally Memphis gets the Grizzlies, but the farthead owner demands a new facility financed by public tax dollars, which has angered many in the community because the Pyramid is new and nice and paid for by tax dollars. Now the college team (University of Memphis) wants to move to the new arena, so now the Pyramid has no tenant whatsoever. Memphis city government spends money like crackheads.

I like Clark Tower! One can see the whole city from the top of the building. There is another cool building in Memphis near Germantown on Poplar Avenue, I think its a Union Planters building, it is dark blue and has a shapely design.

Memphis Skyline

Well the skyline is subtle, but that is because the city is much larger in area than most other large cities. It covers close to 300 sq. miles, so there is no reason to build huge skyscrapers because there is plenty of space to live and work. And the tallest buildings are not even downtown, though now downtown memphis is finally developing with retail, offices and apartments, Memphis is one of the hot spots in the South financially. And the pyramid will probably become some aquarium or museum.

SOMEBODY HAS TO POST MORE PICS OF MEMPHIS TO GIVE IT JUSTICE!!!!

The tallest buildings in Memphis are downtown. Clark Tower is actually the third tallest in the city.

Some new pics of Memphis, TN- Just a few of what I possess but it gives a little bit of the feel of the city without becoming a thread of its own.

Classic density, which is pitiably rare in the South. I love it! 10.

If anyone has anypics of Clark Tower in east Memphis or the other distinct buildings from east memphis, or perhaps a shot from the top of Clark Tower looking towards the downtown skyline. They might help a bit.
