Don't they have anything better to do than modifying the design of the building that is already under way? Why don't they simply design another one to build next to it???

If there's any truth to this, then I'm sadly disappointed.

Please noo...This was my favourite building when it had the whole with the bridge across...now it's slowly getting worse and worse .

And there goes the whole bottle opener plan.

Well, English is not my mother tongue, but wouldn't it be hole instead of whole?

Yeah I think its all BS. Too much to redesign for a building already under construction.

I also miss the original bridge design to whoever said that!

I'm also of those who prefer a holeless SWFC. As someone stated above, it would be better to put the observatory all the way to the top.

Either way I love this building weather it be can opener or flathead screwdriver.

From my knowledge only Cantonese and Southern Mainland chinese are Feng Shui followers. I have to agree though the Hole and Bridge will most likely be constructed as originally planned.

without the hole also looks very impressive. But i think a hole will makes much more impact to the tower, rather than just another common skytall tower.

And the hole makes the tower unike in the world. How many tower have one on the top, and of this size??? Without it, the tower would be just a glass box with a smart shape. At least, it's my opinion.

Folks, it's a joke. Though it does look nice without the hole.

That it's not a joke, it's play with the feelings of Skyscrapers lovers!

Even though it looks like a joke, I prefer the holeless SWFC. The hole gives it unique appearance and character but I don't like the idea of the ferris wheel. I would just try to fit some floors there, and an observation floor all the way up, above the hole. Otherwise, no hole please
