SWFC is building faster than US7 and the base is bigger than US7 as I seen.
Both buildings are great, but I don't know which one will top out the roof first? If US7 was faster than SWFC, US7 will be the tallest building in 2007(Measure from ground to roof ) before SWFC. If SWFC was faster than US7,
US7 will never hold tallest record once it's done.
Height of US7: 484m
Height of SWFC: 492m

I am pretty sure SWFC will finish first. Technically, US7 is kind of in the "on hold" mode. It targest completion date for 10-22nd floor is end of 2007.
In terms of width, i think they are about the same.

Not if US7 increases it's height.

We're only speaking about a 16m difference, and don't forget it's an issue between China and Taiwan... I don't think it's unlikely they raise the height :-)

I thing US7 increases it's height is impossible, because it's height
already increased from 474m to 484m. If the developer wants to
increase the height over 492m, they already did it right ?
So, US7 will not increase it's height again and again.
By the way, I don't know why does Hong Kong's main supper tall buildings
should be lower than the Shanghia's buildings a little bit?
US7: 484m SWFC:492
2ifc: 415m Jin mao: 420.5m

??????????????????????????????????????????????
