I saw a program a few years ago that documented the race for the new tallest building in the world between this and Taipei 101. It showed the plans and development but then said how the S:WFC had been postponed (for reasons I can't remember). I am so glad to see this building finally taking shape - I love it.

Also in that program they suggested a idea of having a ferris wheel type-thing that went around the outside of the hole of the top. I suspect that that will not happen, but it would be truly spectacular if it did.

The ferris wheel has been in some of the renders lately if I remember correctly, so it might actually be in there.

i think each line is floor. look, the thing is massive. look at people that walking around and on floor plates on open spaces. it seems floor celling after each section.

First, the lobby is tall. Second, the floors are not that short if you compare to automobiles in the foreground.

Those horizontal lines that you guys keep referring to as "floors" are levels of scaffolding. Levels of scaffolding are typically no more than 7-8 feet high (9 at the most). Office floors are typically 13 feet high. So these do not accurately represent the number of floors built so far.

On Sunday too! It is quite impressive, if you don't mind the noise.
