Poland one of leading EU countries. Its population of 30 million people. Several times it is more than at the small Czech Republic and Hungary.

Have you noticed that unlike Czech Republic or Hungary, Poland has many international airpoorts?
Look at your country, huuge, without motorway infrastructure and such a big cities like Moscow or Petersburg have so little passangers.

Yes but they obviously haven't enough routes and the majority of people fly through Warsaw.

They all have connection to hubs, so there is no need to fly from Warsaw.

Well it is far not with all centers and especially on the frequency of flights. And that a half flies to England and EU countries to work.

Still, Warsaw has more passangers per capita than Moscow has, while Poland has much better infrastructure. and show me Russian cities comparable in size to Polish ones, with such an infrastructure, modern terminals and destinations.

Moscow more than 63 million passengers in 2012 and in 2013 rapid growth for 16%. In Poland the most part of money for construction from grants of EU and almost a floor of Poland on earnings abroad the Homeland.: LOL:

Imagine what would happen if Russia had visa-free traffic with the EU and Russians had the opportunity to migrate without administrative constraints. Yet at the moment there's quite a bit of skilled Russians already working in the "West", isn't it?

To go the tourist to look and have a rest and go on earnings having the work permit these are different things. When EU at last will decide to cancel visas from Russia to us already will be all the same. Work in Europe will be not necessary to us. Our tourists and so filled all Europe and especially resorts. Russians have money Now to us many Europeans go to look for work as in Europe an economic crisis.

I agree, this guy is a little russian troll. He has nothing interesting to add to discussion beside his own frustration. Just ignore him.

Can you people just don't pay attention to the troll? Instead or replying to his posts just REPORT POST to the mods. This page is one big off-topic.

September: Chopin Airport passenger numbers up 25%

Chopin Airport handled nearly 1,117,000 passengers in September 2013, a 24.8% jump year on year, marking the third consecutive record month in the history of the airport.

Just like June, July and August, September too saw Chopin Airport pass the one million passenger mark, making it yet another busiest ever month for the airport (the previous best September result was in 2011, when 997,000 passengers used the airport).

Traditional and low-cost airlines carried 886,800 and 230,600 passengers respectively, with non-schedule traffic figures reaching 185,400. 1,006,000 travelled on international flights (+30.8%) and 110,000 domestically (-11.7%).

Since the beginning of 2013, Chopin Airport has welcomed nearly 8.5 million passengers, a 10.9% increase year on year, including 7.6 million travellers on international flights (+19%) and 846,500 domestically (-31.2%). The number of passenger aircraft movements totalled 97,200, compared to over 100,000 in the corresponding nine months of 2008.
