The city has been rewarded as cleanest and most beautiful city in the continetal croatia 4 years in a row. But still it's getting prettier every year!

I knew that there was water around Old Castle. Yesterday i've found out that water was also around city walls. And now that you've posted this picture i'm really suprised. Look at the picture, it says 19th century.

I was amazed too when I saw the picture! It shows Varazdin around 1830. I saw many old city maps but none was showing water around the city...strange...I'll try to find the maps again...

Great collection indeed. Cole, try and place about 10-20 pics at a time per each post. It might make it easier for them to load up. I have cable connection and it struggles to load them all up sometimes. Nice work.
