Turn into the Goldy overnight....? I don't think so! But I do agree the beaches will be nice in their own way, but not in the way the Gold Coast is

Let the Marina, JBR, Palm and JLT finish... and we'll see how it is then compared to Gold Coast

Yes it is one of the nicest places in the world. How else they gonna express how much money they got?? Everyone have 50 ferraris, Porsches, Lambos....funny saying that though cause many people do own a number of exotic cars as well as having unbelievable homes. Also, you say that having a put a picture of Burj Al Arab on your profile....kind of contradicting yourself arent you??

I don't like the towers. The beaches looked scarred. I hope they look better when they are finished. But i can see its a really huge project.

It's also a marvelous example of panic building. They are so terrified in the UAE that when oil runs out their economy will collapse that they are using their money to build all over the place in order to attract tourists.

Dubai is going to be so expensive in the coming years that only millioners might be able to afford visiting it. Its hard for me to see how tourism will replace their multibillion dollar oil industry. I hope their plans work cause if they dont...
