In the pano, The area over to the right is pretty full, a few more towers to go up but not many. To the left, where most of the gaps are, there will be a fair few more towers, including about 5-7 supertalls.

WOW,

I know people don't like these buildings,

But for some reason I really love them, The Sand coloured facade of this building just gives a real nice Beach feeling to it.

The rest of Dubai has enough Glass, time for some real Marina look.

I dont see any point of comparing Dubai and NY, I'm sure if Dubai want to compete They can just build "another" New York City replica.

For what its worth, i agree that the sand coloured paint still looks kinda unfinished - as if they need glass cladding like a few of them have and look far better for it.

Every building cant be glass clad. Is every building in NY glass clad?

I think the sand coloured building make a nice contrast to the glass clads.

I like it how all the Sand coloured talls are together like that, it really gives it a nice caribbean resort look.

Loving it.

Well, I would prefer larger windows and less concrete.
To be honest, they are getting much better, especially with them getting more details now

In the first pic, two of the towers on the left have a band of darker color going up the middle that helps break up the monotony of the facades. I think if they incorporated that into all the towers it would help a lot. The little details help a lot too. I think it's too early to completely write these off, though. I bet they look a lot better when they're completely finished.
