Really worried about the occupancy rate when all projects are complete.

I love Dubai and all its towers (the reason for my visit in late august) but as all new builds are over 200m it makes it less of big thing when something new gets built. In liverpool (my home city) our tallest is 138m tall (U/C) and there is about 12 towers between 70m and 166m proposed. A new hotel was proposed the other day at 117m tall and that is rather exciting in Liverpool and most english cities but if something even as small as 300m (only small to you guys) was proposed we would probably all die of a heart attack. i Just wish our council was as lade back as yours

Residential towers should be ready by the end of the year... the hotels have only just started construction so they would take about a year or two to complete... the walk should be open by early next year though

If the JBR was i dont know ! somewhere in the middle of the Dubai marina it would be ok , but having the people staying in those hotels look at a "concrete wall" just behind them isnt too "beachy" like ? or maybe the atmosphere is a little different to what i have in mind ..... impressive progress .... but they could have put some heart into it

Al Fattan Marine Towers look great lit up at night. I wonder why they didn't light the last few floors of the atrium though.

I would guess that all over the world, anyone with money that likes to travel will be purchasing apartments or homes in Dubai. Though there might be some over-supply, I would guess that they will fill at least 90% of the properties. Otherwise, they wouldn't have gotten out of the planning stages.

I couldnt agree less with you, these towers are just right there in your face you know what i mean like. It would be so cool if all the towers which are going behind JBR were in front of JBR apart from al fattan tower.

ahmed, great to hear from you.

well most of the hotels and their rooms are designed to face the sea anyway.
