well, looking at the last pictures i cand definately say that there they have turned out better than I thought they would.. I was worried that it was going to be to dark due to overcrowding, but it doesnt seem that bad.

Impressive indeed, but the design is very uninspired... But that problem seems to appear more often in Dubai...

A very impressive group of buildings. I am especially glad to see the addition of glass to some of the building facades. The sand color was a bit monotonous.

The ancient Eqyptians dressed up their sand colored monuments and buildings with color, which over the centuries has been removed by the sand. Some of the buildings in Miami, Florida -- especially in the South Beach area -- also do that. It has a very pleasing effect.
