Wonderful you say? I don't know how a tower could be worse than that

Am afraid i have to agree with Bender, PAINTED CONCRETE! thought this was a thing of the past, and there are so many similar ones, it seems that in Dubai's urge to build a city it's compramised on alot of quality.

Well, if they're maintained well it should be OK. That's the problem with lots of cheap 60s apartments. Their ugliness doesn't matter at all as long as their well maintained, hopefully these will be

i like the look of these towers a lot because theyre reminiscent of a timeless architectural style that characterize a lot of architectural in fictional movies like Naboo in star wars, or minas tilith (or some minas thing - the BIG CASTLE/TOWN final battle place) from LOTR, or buildings from Atlantis.

They seem to be very brickwallup/council estate style. Not some of Dubai's best work.

BENIDORM on a large scale. Would you seriously want to look at that while relaxing on the beach?

And apart of The Palm Jumeirah villas and apartments, those are the only buildings in Dubai with their own beach.

altind is right. they are closest to the beach and do not forget that the podium of this complex will be a massive shopping area and as we've seen in previous images they almost look like a castle.
