Is there going to be enough demand to fill all those buildings? It looks like they will finish all roughly at the same time, and why is the model at IKEA?

the model is in a mall called deira citycenter, in front of an ikea store.

well this project is sold out with premiums up to 100% if i am not wrong

emir's photo from last week allows a count for the cranes

50 cranes for 36 towers, aka jumeirah beach residence

not bad

counting all the cranes in the marina, it comes to 80 or so, with jlt just across, there are 130 cranes on one spot

well, apart from towers being built left, right and behind me you can't see dozens of towers because the view is blocked

oh yes a helicopter update of marina, jlt, media city, the palm crescent, the palm jebel ali, and burj dubai... i would pay 1000 dhs for that

yep
he must have taken this on a boat tour
the stonewall in the foreground is the crescent and you can even see the bridge connecting 2 parts of the crescent
