Well you wouldn't fit many people in there and the cheap seats would be very wet.
That building in the background is spectacular though!

When's this project slated to be completed and open?

Are there any Beijing forumers who can take pics of the interior? I thought a long time ago we had someone who gained access to the construction site.

Very modern design, I like it
a contrast of an old and new architecture style!

The architect is Paul Andreu, a French who was at the head of ADP (Paris airport company) and also designed Roissy airport, Dubai airport, the Shanghai oriental arts center, Guanghzou airport, Nice airport, Shanghai pudong airport, Durban airport, the Osaka maritim museum, Santiago airport, Manilla airport, Kansai airport (with R. Piano), and many other buildings/airports in the world.
