I can see the Sears Tower from my second floor. I live about 23km southwest of downtown Chicago.

I am priviledged enough to have a view of Swiss Re and Tower 42 from my bedroom!

The tallest? I can't see a darn thing from my house. So therefore:
My neighbor's house-30 feet.

Tallest I can barely see is One Beacon Street in Boston. It is 507ft and 37 stories tall.

Just the houses that are the same height as mine about 2 stories. Tall trees are everywhere round here, makes it hard to see the houses at the back.

BTW, my house is the tallest on my block, so I can see almost the entire street from top floors.

The Sears Tower. It's only about 3 miles away. I can also seek the Hancock and Aon Center rather easily as well.

I'm lying in my bed looking out of the window and see Aon Center (1136 ft) on the left and Sears Tower (1450 ft), at a distance, on the right. That's two of the tallest buildings in the USA. The building next to Aon is Prudential Center
