Thanks Meadows and MancKnight, it is such a great weekend this week, I definitely recommend going to the woods in Alderley Edge, you get such a clear view all over.

I might have to upload the skyline image to my blog, then the image will be in full size to view the photo.

Taken today, 23rd floor Beetham Tower.

Castlefield(front left), Mediacity, Salford Quays, Salford.

Obviously not right.

But it was impossible to get a complete panoramic sweep through the narrow glass windows on the 23rd floor of Beetham tower.

Sweeps one and two married up, but the third one didn't due to GMEX. Arrgh!

But you get the idea.

Taken today,

PS. Mr Hilton. Clean your windows.

Proves if anything that tall buildings shouldn’t be built around the vicinity of Beetham Tower. Completely loses its character making it look like a uniform slab.

Great photo. Werneth Low?

I like how that angle shows the growing Quays and the 2 centre nature of Manchester.

I've been saying this for at least a year!

Beetham does and always will look good on its own

It would have been brilliant if NWS was between Beetham and city tower instead.

Two new pictures from Flickr.

I'm guessing, but think the first one was taken from the hotel at Mediacity.

Salford(brutal) and Manchester city centre skyline.

Don't know where this has been taken from.

Think this is new?

Don't remember seeing a panoramic shot showing Wakefield and the new COOP HQ that advanced before.

There is a great skyline shot from local Manchester photographer Andrew Brooks at the Cornerhouse as part of the Home exhibition in the cafe and bar. The skyline photo is on the first floor, behind the bar.
