Cheers Nick. The Victorian stuff in Ancoats (in the foreground) is starting to look really good, with the modern city growing out of it.....(which is largely what Manchester is)

It's always nice when a Brummie appears appreciative, and v.v. Bill Clinton's certainly got an eye for detail, hasn't he?

I think our Bill just might have actually 'inhaled' his joint that time, when he was in Brum.

Is that not the ridge of Helsby/Frodsham rather than the Welsh hills

You've got a pretty good zoom on your camera, man med if you've taken them from Hartshead Pike. I've taken binoculars up there and not seen close shots like those you took

Is that the Fiddlers Ferry Power Station in the background?

What camera is it? I think I want one!

Good Work that man. I think there is chance for a real big cluster round there. Not least the car park it was taken from but also incl. City tower to the right and the demolition of one or two of the crappy 60's buildings between the midrises would produce something really dense should they be replaced with mid/highrises.

Mines the Olympus C750. ie, the one before yours. Quite pissed off about that because the slightly improved 765 was released a couple of months after I bought the 750 which is now discontinued, I think. The 765 is also now about £100 cheaper than the 750 was when I bought it 18 months ago.

Albert Park? Not the best place to wave a posh camera about!

A view from Pomona on September 7th. Bloody crane infestation.

Btw, if anyone happens to be in the Moston area, near Lightbowne Road, in Broadhurst Park, have a look if there's a good skyline view. Should be. Shit area though.
