Bnmaddict.....i actucally agree with you, i quite like Montparnasse, for a 1970's tower its nice and it looks alot taller than it actually is.

I also liked the Twin Towers, they where very monolithic and impressive because of their sheer size. I didnt think they where ugly and where the perfect pinacle of the New York Skyline.

However i dont like the Sears tower or the John Hancock centre.....for some reason they just dont do it for me....i think the John Hancock centre looks grubby and dirty (its not - but the colour gives me that impression). I cant pinpoint why i dont like the Sears Tower, i suppose because its a fairly plain design, and also because it has a number of setbacks, it doesnt soar as much as i would like....for one of the worlds tallest buildings it never looks very tall in pictures.

I don't really like Commerzbank and Swiss Re, but that's just me, oh and don't forget Torre Agbar!

Chicago's 3 tallest are not very impressive. If they were smaller, nobody would even notice them.

TOUR MONTEPARNESSE,is a beauty anyone who has been to paris and went all the way to the top of the eiffel tower, knows how beautiful it is.also if you go to the top of montepar. you get some nice views.

and although its regarded as a sore thumb ,i believe it the most beautiful sore thumb skyscraper in the world.the first time you see it you think its a 300m+ tower .they only people who seem to dislike it are the parisians but i'm sure any other city would accept it with open arms

I like both the MetLife (former Pan Am) and Ryugyong. Both are powerful looking and dominating.
