Photo Update

Some photos from yesterday. My dial-up connection means it takes an eternity to upload my images, so more should follow.

Unity coming along.

Unity making an impact- viewed from the front of Lime St station.

PSDA- A hive of activity. Several levels of the underground car park completed.

The Moat House

Met Quarter, seems to be a biggy. The retained Post Office facade can just be made out through the scaffolding.

I don't suppose it helps when some knobhead comes along and hacks this site and deletes everyone's hard work.

Nice photos Blabber. Looking forward to to part II.

Lots of interesting stuff going on around Liverpool so you can get to learn your new camera and provide the forum with quality stuff.

Great pics Blabbern, you have even got 'clouds' (just seen The Aviator, that Howard Hughes film, I hope you didn't have to go to as much trouble as he did to get your clouds). But Dave is the original cloud-meister and I miss his pics, so I think more from everyone is required. I am not due to go up for ages and ages, so I love all the pics on here as a way of seeing how much progress is being made. I can't believe how deep the hole in the ground is in one of your pics - I wonder why they need to dig so deep?

LP, on the site of the old Moathouse Hotel will be shops, John lewis and Multi-plex Cinama, all will be serviced through basement level also public access from the undergrond car park will emerge in the area of the deep excavation, hence the need to go down to lowest level of the CP.

Cheese...

He he. Cheers guys. I think I might have had the light sensitivity funciton a bit high as some of the pics are a little faint. Also, The feeble memory card I got with it only allowed me to take 9 pics But more will come once I get my gigabyte card In the mean time- DAVE! SHOW US THE PICS!

Oh I see, thanks for the explanation. I hoped it might be a huge underground swimming pool / beach resort mocked-up as Egyptian temple / oasis thingy or something, complete with swaying palm trees and genu-ine Egyptian sand, but a car park is more functional I suppose.

Blabbernsmoke.

Isn't that scaffolding keeping the facade of the building behind Albany standing. Surely it's not a new structure for automated parking, otherwise the road would be blocked. How is the automated parking going to work/be accessed for this site...!

Nice pics by the way, hope to see more from you in the future.

Is that the final cladding, or will something else go on top of that?
