That canal looks great. I didn't know about it. Richmond has so many beautiful buildings and an interesting layout.

There are no shots of Shockoe Bottom among these fotos. Several of the new development along Haxall Canal; one of Broad Street with the old Central National Bank tower in background; a view of Kanawa Plaza and its fountain near the Federal Building and the Financial district, and a shot of the old LadyByrd building being converted to a night club on the canal at the edge of Shockoe SLIP, but truly, nothing of the Bottom.

I'll hopefully be living on the VCU Campus, or near it, in the future. I'll probably be taking a weekend visit sometime to check it out.
