Wow, I didn't realize that Mumbai's three ugliest towers are right next to each other. Thankfully this project, and the other stellar ones going up in that area, will drown out those eyesores.

Eh??

Lady Ratan, Konark Empress and that other head trip of a tower may be relatively new, but they are by far the fugliest buildings in Mumbai. Worse than even 50s-era commieblocks. They were built in roughly the same time in early 2000s when, from the looks of their buildings, I suspect every major Mumbai based architect was on crystal meth.

Thankfully, they seemed to have came out clean, and now are designing unique and world class projects, steadily creeping upwards in size and scale.

No, 4 seasons isn't the one on the left. It is the u/c building in the direct center. The left hand side one is The Legend.

Like any city, there are good parts and bad parts. The skyline is some 40kms long from end to end. The above photographed section is an ugly part. When the several towers u/c in that pic are finished in about a year, it will look drastically different.

Crystal meth ?? ) ) )
Yeah.. the cheap names that these buildings have been given alone says it all.

hey guys...

Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai is planned to open in late 2006. visit the four seasons website for further information:

http://www.fourseasonshotel.com/newa...ons/index.html

by the way, could we possibly get some photo updates on the construction of the hotel? it should be topped out with exterior cladding starting by now. thank you!
