SA Photo Thread

Just came across a few great photos of Riverbank on Hassell's site and thought it'd be a good idea to get an Adelaide photo thread going:

heres a few i found around the web

Nice one of the skyline with elder park & torrens. river is surprisingly blue.

The victoria square fountain can look stunning at night.

Heres a real good aerial which will prove stunning when City Central and bentham goes up. Lots of potential is seen.

Our botanic gardens prove there is much to offer in the parklands.

The G.P.O is a truly marvellous historic structure.

Pants, i believe u have adelaide confused with dubai. however u may have done that. believe me, such development in adelaide would result mass hysteria and rebblions that the city would crumble.

i have never though of adelaide that way, but now that u mention it adelaide is VERY european. its has a small cbd core, with many midlevel developments and a flat but big expansion.

Finally I agree with you on something. Adelaide is Australia's European city, and whilst this may mean that we have less skyscrapers there is nothing to be ashamed of as Europe has some of the most beautiful and elegant cities in the world and many do not have tall skyscrapers.
