[QUOTE=Threehundred]I would love to see at least 1 60 story building near 1100 Wilshire as well as 3 30-40 story buildings near there as well. The other side of the Harbor freeway has lots of room for devlopment.

Don't quote me on this , but i believe that a large portion of the Citywest development area was rezoned, (or at least the immediate area around Whilshire blvd. from the 110 fwy to Lucas st.?)
Most of the sites adjacent to 1100, are being developed as we speak, unfortunately with lowrise, Medici type buildings.
However, development's on the Olympic blvd. corridor seem to be larger and taller than the original zoning allowed for that area. There is alot of development going on north of Whilshire blvd, around the Los Angeles studios, along Bixel st., and almost all of Beaudry hill area to Second st. Again with lowrise type buildings. (I'd like to slap the shit out of whoever is responsible for passing those projects..!!!)

Would that be interesting, a wall of 15 to 30 story buildings, from the 110 fwy, to Union st.!!

I wouldn't mind seeing a wall of skyscrapers like that section of Wilshire near Santa Monica with nothing but highrise condos. Like the Diplomat, the Californian, and the like.
Far from basic.
