note that probably Nintendo paid JR East to put there advertaisments of the recent pokemon movie to well advertaise

anyways Pokemon is developed and published by Nintendo and other companies related to nintendo

but anyways cool adveritasiment
JR East Group has a subsidiary company which is one of the official sponsors of Pokemon animation, and they holds an annual event of "Stamp Rally" (there is a stamp of different characters at each station and participants collect them riding their trains. popular kind of entertainment in Japan) using Pokemon characters.
That train runs for it.

There has only been one metro train with ads on it on Copenhagen:

...it was a test. I'm not sure if they gonna continue with it...

Such thing was usual on Moscow buses, trams and trolleys in 1990's, but not anymore.

If advertisement money is used to improve public transport then I have nothing against it.

Well I don't know if this data is interesting to you or not, but I discovered today that the big advertisements on subways and buses in Portugal is responsabilty of an external company: mco (media capital outdoor) and I found the price list:

Full Oporto/Lisbon metro composition : 30.319 € + 21% VAT per 3 months

Full Oporto/Lisbon bus: 13.781 € + 21 % VAT per 3 months

Full Oporto/Lisbon articulated bus: 20.673 € + 21 % VAT per 3 months

RATB piece of poop ad

I see Kramer, Jerry and... Al! If they stick George and Elaine too, I'll buy the bus for own use!

Anyway, one that I like from Bucharest...

Most of them have smaller ads or ads that are dead boring IMO. Also, they haven't stuck them onto any Citaro or Irisbus vehicles just yet.

More pictures of RATB's vehicles (with and w/o ads) are here. The metro is run by a different operator (Metrorex).

Cool

sometimes they cover the windows here

there was a smart one where they covered it so it looked like the people riding the bus were part of the ad
