I will be honest I've never been there, but from the pics that I have seen, I agree, it looks like a dump.

Does anyone know what is happening as regards for the tram system going past the oval and down to the Elephant and Castle. Is it still on or has it been mothballed ?

hopefully its been cancelled. That cross river tram scheme would ruin the best views in London.

that reminds me of the first conversation I ever had with you on the scc, you said it would spoil your views over a Bridge you liked if I remember.

Sorry pricey, but when it comes to trams, you can't beat them, just look at how a good light rail system can look in an urban area, it doesn't spoil the view it makes it:

but it will have trams and the overhead cables going over Waterloo bridge which is the best view in the whole of London. Im not against trams per se but not over Waterloo Bridge.

Ive never got this whole view from waterloo bridge is the best thing ! I think Hungerford bridge is much better and offers a far more powerful view.

The new tower is beautiful and I love the fact that they are incorporting wind turbines in it. Very techno but somehow organic as well. Hope it gets built.
