yeah, its a real shame isnt it?

But i guess we are lucky that it was only cut to 288m, and not to something like 250m.

I guess there is kind of a good side to this, because it means the skyline isnt gonna just jump from 235m to 307m, it will fill that gap a bit.

Still a real shame though. Atleast we still have The Shard, which is apparently going to start enabling works in one or two months.

And anyway whats the deal with The Shard? Are they still going to build it to 310m?

Difa has reduced the height of the tower from 1,007ft to 945ft after a request by the Civil Aviation Authority.

It's supposed to the Beetham London tower but it's in completely the wrong place and direction.

Vauxhall Tower isnt over there, it wouldnt be in the picture. Broadgate tower isnt there, itll be around City point. Shard /London Bridge isnt there, its behind Guy's and a tad bit taller. Good Though!

That is 16 Proposed (7 skyscrapers) and 5 starting construction.

Broadgate tower was Proposed early this year, Approved halfway through and Began construction about a month ago.

Just a question: how long spans the time between the first ideas/visions/proposals and then completion of LBT? 15 Years?
