WANCH, you wanted to see pictures of the Aylesbury Estate...

The Heygate Estate is almost identical if I remember correctly, and just north of the Aylesbury, which is in the Walworth area.

Queenbridge is one of the most known housing projects in New York if not Soundview in the Bronx. In fact alot of rap artists used public housing as backdrop for their album covers or posters.

Here's one from NAS who is from Queensbridge

Awww I feel so nostalgic! even though I still live in New York and never in a project ....Anyway how did you EVER get all these pics? They're so many! And so accurate...It's like a tour of NYC...Anyway I love the concept and I always wanted to live in a project ...But one where they were taken care of...And where the residents didnt want to kill you...Anyway i've always lived in this very nice historic Art Deco apartment building so I shouldnt complain..

I originally thought it was when I type New York City + projects through Google and this came up. One of the things that threw me off was that it had a special lot for residents, which most housing projects usually have. Then again, looks can be decieving. Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village are almost next door to Waterside Plaza, though I am not sure if they are housing projects, which is why I didn't include them.

Lai Tak Tsuen in Hong Kong. This is one of the best looking public housing estate in Hong Kong because of it's cylindrical design

Tracey Towers is definitely not public housing. So is the Hilliard Homes in Chicago.

I think Tracey Towers used to be public housing or was originally built as a housing project.

Public housing in Mexico City
