Pakboy,

Under Bahria Paradise it says '26 commercial and luxury highrise apartments'. Can you confirm that 26 highrise buildings would be built ?

ISLAMABAD is a capital city.
RAWALPINDI is a neighbouring city so close to ISLAMABAD that the two cities are called TWIN CITIES. Population wise RAWALPINDI is larger city.
BAHRIA is neither a city nor a province. It is a housing scheme privately invested by a couple of ppl in Pakistan.
Bahria apart from having housing scheme in ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI and has a similar housing scheme LAHORE aswell which function as suburbs of the above mentioned cities. These schemes provide international standard of living and are well maintained.

A view of the 2 cities

Here is an aerial picture of the FEDRAL CAPITAL TERRITORY. The red line shows ISLAMABAD's area which is larger than RAWALPINDI, but RWP has more population due to congested housing.....n therefore ISB has engulfed RWP from nearly all sides.
Faisal Mosque is real close to the capital centre so it makes BAHRIA a suburb.

The 26 Towers will range from 12-40 storey (the higher limit depends on RDA building height rules).

Whoa, now thats a beautiful building. Last time I went to pakistan when I was about 13, rawalpindi is just a mud brick city and now they got something over 20 skyscrapers proposed. Theres a lot of development going on in paskistan, probably because musharraf is in power (pakistan greatist ever president).

Thats good to hear. I don't like when some real estate developers plan to build 20+ highrises of the same height. I'm glad to hear that Bahria is going to vary the height of the structures.

Any idea when work starts on the this project ?
